HHH 2007 - our first ride

Some of you may have noticed that Wichita Falls Central was NOT at the start line taking pictures this year – we have a good reason for this. After 5+ years of taking photos we finally had to join the fun. So, this year for the first time our entire family hit the road on our bikes and completed the 25 mile ride. We had a great time and hope to do it again next year! I think a lot of the fun comes from the rest stops and the fun themes they come up with. Our ride only had two rest stops, so I can't comment on any that I did not see. I must say that the two we stopped at were wonderful – our first stop was the "PIRATE" rest stop located on Rifle Range Road. Our second and final rest stop was on Sheppard Air Force Base and my family could not stop talking about how wonderful it was. They really put a lot of work into arranging the aircraft for a static display “ride through” and when you exit the rest stop you got to ride through a corridor of hundreds of servicemen and women cheering you on!!!
